Those Who Remain

 There are 12 remaining weeks until December 18, 2026. In order to get in the movies that I want to watch before Avengers: Doomsday , I had to cut some movies out and put others in. I really wanted to watch all the X-Men movies, but I figured the first two will do nicely since it's on Disney's official list. The original Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies aren't on any list, but the rumors do say that Tobey Maguire is involved somehow. I didn't care too much about missing something like The Eternals , so I was okay bumping that. Shang-Chi , not so much. Perhaps after December. I may even do a rewatch of Wandavision in the future. We'll see what happens. Also, this is in no particular order. I'll probably post about the Endgame Encore soon, but since I just watched it in the theater, I'll wait a few more weeks before watching it again. 1. X-Men 2. X2: X-Men United 3. Recently, somebody told me that Thor: Ragnarok was the best and worst thing to ever happen to Thor (yeah Kate, talking to you). The more I think about it, this is absolutely correct. In the MCU, Thor started off as a Shakespearean-type character with an evil brother and domineering father, which makes sense since it was directed by Kenneth Branagh. Thor: The Dark World was not well received but contributed quite a bit to the mythology of MCU Thor. Then, Thor met Tony Stark, so to speak. Whenever he was funny, it was mostly because he was making fun of his serious nature. Thor in Thor: Ragnarok was taken over by a new kind of director, Taika Waititi from Australia. It’s the same place that actor Chris Hemsworth is from; the two get along. If you ever watched What We Do In The Shadows , you know that Waititi is a comedic director and that this was going to be a different type of Thor movie.
